on-purpose Off-sites

Custom offsites in Portugal for trailblazers who know that transforming industries starts with how we show up: fully alive, fully human.

For the ones rewriting the rules.

You're building something that matters.

Work where profit and purpose aren't opposites. Teams that solve problems everyone else gave up on. A future where people don't have to choose between showing up authentically and succeeding professionally.

You understand what makes this possible: when people bring their whole selves: curiosity, creativity, courage, aliveness.
They don't just execute. They invent what's next.

"You never change things by fighting the existing reality. To change something, build a new model that makes the existing model obsolete."

— Buckminster Fuller

That's what you're doing.
And it requires a different kind of offsite.

Why this actually pays off

When your team operates from aliveness instead of depletion:

People stay. Not because of perks, but because they're building something that matters with people they enjoy.

Ideas flow. When nervous systems aren't in survival mode, creativity becomes the default state.

The impossible becomes your baseline. Teams that trust each other deeply navigate high-stakes decisions and uncertainty without fracturing.

You prove what's possible. You're not just growing a company: you're modelling the future of work.

WHAT I CREATE

Offsites for people who are building the future,
not replicating the past

You're not conventional.
Why should your offsite be?

I design custom experiences in Portugal for teams who think differently. Planning sessions in quintas surrounded by cork forests. Surf lessons that become metaphors for navigating uncertainty. Meals with winemakers who chose craft over scale. Hikes through mystical landscapes that shift how you see impossible problems.

This isn't about templates or best practices borrowed from companies you're trying to not become. It's about creating the exact conditions your team needs to do the work that matters, while remembering why you chose this unconventional path.

What makes these offsites different

Designed for trailblazersnot the status quo
I don't start with a menu. I start with questions: Who is your team? What are you trying to create? What will genuinely shift how you work together? Then I design from there.

Access you can't Google
Four years in Portugal means I know what tourists miss and locals don't share easily. Places that match your values, not your budget for appearances.

Where strategy meets aliveness
Dedicated time for strategic work: planning, decisions, hard conversations. Plus elements that remind you what's possible when you're not running on empty. Breakthrough thinking requires breakthrough conditions.

One person handling everything
Venues, transport, meals, activities, timing, flow—I coordinate it all. You have one point of contact who gets both business reality and staying human while doing hard things. That's me.

How an offsite unfolds:

It starts with purpose, not agenda

Before anything else, we clarify the real purpose of gathering. Not "team offsite" or "strategic planning", but the why behind bringing your team together in Portugal:

  • What needs to shift?

  • What's at stake?

  • What becomes possible when you're together that can't happen over Zoom?

This is part of what I offer: asking the questions that bring clarity. Sometimes you know exactly what you need. Sometimes the conversation itself reveals what's actually really important.
Either way, purpose shapes everything: who should be there, how long you need, what you'll do, even where you'll be.

Without clear purpose, you get a nice trip.
With it, you get real transformation.

The power of leaving your context

Here's what neuroscience tells us: when you step out of your familiar environment, your brain enters a different state. The daily routines, the usual triggers, the patterns that run on autopilot: they all interrupt.

This isn't metaphorical. Getting on a plane to Portugal, staying somewhere new, eating meals prepared by local hands, this signals to your nervous system: something different is happening here.

That recognition opens the door: New ideas become visible. Perceptions shift. Solutions that were invisible in your usual context suddenly seem obvious.
We harness that shift and create the conditions where meaningful work can happen in that opening.

Spaces and time for your strategic work

The container matters. Not conference rooms, but spaces surrounded by nature, coastal venues with ocean views, historic Portuguese buildings, terraces with expansive views. Places that signal "we're here to do something different."

The environment holds your purpose. It shapes what feels possible: inviting certain conversations, creating the conditions for openness and trust. This is why venue selection is important.

You bring your agenda: the planning sessions, decision-making, vision alignment, difficult conversations your team needs. I can support in fine-tuning the structure and timing if helpful.

Optional: Professional facilitators for conflict resolution, strategic frameworks, or specialized workshops.

Experiences designed to serve your purpose

The difference is intentionality. Every element in your offsite is chosen specifically to create the conditions for what needs to happen. Not random. Not generic. Purposeful.

Some possibilities:

  • Surf lessons on the Atlantic coast - learning to ride uncertainty together, literally

  • Creative workshops with local artists - painting, ceramics, music—getting out of analytical minds, into hands and flow

  • Body-based practices - breathwork, yoga, somatic movement, emotional release: regulating your system so strategic thinking is actually possible

  • Hiking Sintra's mystical landscapes - movement that creates space for conversations that don't happen sitting still

  • Playful movement - beach volleyball and activities that remind you what it feels like to try, fail, laugh, and try again without stakes

  • Time with local makers - winemakers, artisans, food producers who chose craft over scale

These aren't "breaks from work." They're designed to unlock what your team came here to do.

The design creates the transformation

Gatherings are temporary worlds we create. They have rules (spoken and unspoken), rhythms, thresholds, and transitions. The design of these elements determines what becomes possible.

Your offsite isn't a collection of activities, it's a deliberately designed experience with an arc: It builds toward something. It creates the conditions for your team to step into a different way of being together, do the work that matters, and return changed.

Strategic and alive. Focused and open. Productive in ways that surprise you.

This is the art of gathering: creating temporary worlds where the impossible becomes possible.

THE PROCESS

From initial conversation to unforgettable experience

Discovery conversation
We start with a conversation about your team, your mission, and what you're hoping to create. This isn't a sales call—it's an exploration of whether this is the right fit and what kind of experience would genuinely serve your goals.

Custom proposal
Based on our discussion, I design a complete offsite proposal specifically for your team. You'll see the venues, the flow, the activities, and the reasoning behind each element. This is collaborative—if something doesn't resonate, we refine it together.

Seamless coordination
Once the design is finalized, I handle every detail: accommodations, transportation, meals, activities, timing, and contingency planning. You receive a complete itinerary and have one point of contact (me) for any questions or adjustments.

Your offsite
You and your team arrive, and everything unfolds exactly as planned. Your only responsibility is to be present with your team and engage in the experience. I manage all on-ground logistics and remain available throughout.

why portugal?

Because you can't shift paradigms from inside the paradigm.

Distance creates perspective, not just physical, but contextual. Your brain knows something different is possible. Patterns interrupt. Assumptions loosen.

Portugal offers European infrastructure without corporate sterility. Natural beauty without resort artificiality. A culture that values craft, quality, and doing things well over fast.

Practically:

  • Accessible from most of Europe (2-4 hour flights, no jet lag)

  • Reliably good weather (300+ days of sunshine)

  • Exclusive experiences without venture-scale budgets

  • Diverse landscape: ocean, mountains, cities, countryside

What matters to you: Every offsite supports local Portuguese communities and businesses. You're shifting how business works—let's make sure spending reflects that.

About

I see you. Because I've been you.

A woman with dark brown hair, blue eyes, wearing a white button-up shirt and black pants, sitting against a muted green background, with one hand resting on her head.

Not the "burned out" version. The "choosing differently" version.

I moved to Portugal four years ago choosing toward something—sustainable pace, work that doesn't drain humanity, life built around what matters.

That choice taught me what I help teams create: space for work that matters without sacrificing aliveness.

Who I am:Jennifer—German-French, fluent in five languages, over a decade creating experiences that break the mold.

Certified Life & Business Coach (2015), Hypno Coach (2019), trained in Mindfulness (2020) and Neo Emotional Release techniques. I work with mission-driven companies on marketing and growth. I speak both languages: sustainable wellbeing and business reality.

I've organized hospitality experiences, community gatherings, and a documentary screening series in Lisbon. I hold space for transformation while managing the thousand invisible details.

My strength: Empathy paired with strategic thinking. I see what teams actually need, with operational rigor and cultural fluency to execute flawlessly. German precision meets Portuguese warmth.

Why I do this: Because people building the future deserve experiences that match their ambition. Because conventional bores me too. Because I've spent four years building the relationships and local knowledge that makes this possible.

You get me: one person who understands what you're doing and handles everything so you can do it.
